We went to grandma and grandpa's for Easter. The kids had a really great time. We are still eating the candy that the Easter bunny left for them.
There hasn't been much going on around here. Still trying to sell the house. We've had quite a number of showings. We have at least a couple/few per week. Just got a call for one tomorrow night and we had one Saturday night. It keeps me hopeful. Just itching to start building.
Here are some pictures from basket and egg hunting:
Sam's first egg. (He's saying, "please remind me to thank aunt Jill for your bright flash mommy!)

What's this??? Mmmmmm......peep.......

Mr. Bunny counting the eggs with Ella...
We later went outside to play. It was pretty chilly, but the kids didn't seem to notice.

One of my favorites!!

I can almost hear ya'll screaming...
Why hasn't she updated the blog yet??? Mostly because I just forget or I am really busy. But today I'm sitting here and Sammy is sleeping. Ella and daddy are at swimming lessons and I'm really bored!! I thought now was as good of time as any.
I've been bored a lot lately. I worked so hard for two weeks to get everything ready and clean, but now that the house is on the market there's nothing to do. I don't want to do anything that makes a big mess. Everything is kept clean all the time so there isn't that to do. The weather has been sucky so we can't go outside. I think we're all getting a little stir crazy waiting to get outside and play. Hopefully really soon here or I might go nuts.
I have a few videos here that are pretty funny. Please forgive the messy house. (I know you don't care, but it really bugs me)
This is Sammy dancing with Elmo...
Ella and Sam are spinning around. It makes me dizzy just watching them, but they love doing it.
Ella is pushing Sammy while in his truck. He likes to be "dumped" out too...
I hope you enjoy the videos.
I will leave you with a couple Ella quotes from the day:
"Jesus was not a princess" -- Zan asked her what she learned in Sunday school today.
"Grandpa is big" -- Ella was instructing daddy how to draw grandpa on the doodle pad.

We're Back!!
I wish I could say we went on vacation or something, but nope we're here, just been really busy. I do have some cute pictures and video's but I've been having trouble getting them downloaded. Will do that as soon as I get a moment.
We're putting our house on the market and hoping for a quick sale. Once we sell this place we're building a new home. We are more than excited and that is the reason we've been so busy. I've been working, cleaning and getting things ready for the house to be put on the market. We'll be done after this weekend. So hopefully I can catch up on a few things that have been put on the back burner. If I can find them that is.....
There isn't much new going on which is nice. The kids have a little cold, but nothing too bad. I wish we could get back some of that really nice warm weather, but I guess I'll have to wait a little bit.
Let's hope for a quick sale so we can get building. Anyone interested in a nice townhome??? :)

Here is Ella singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider. She likes to make her own versions also. Such as teeny tiny spider, biggest spider ever, etc. Very creative...
Here's Sammy at his finest! :) He can now say, "hi", "ball", "yes", and a couple others. He wasn't being too cooperative here, but you get the idea...

Ella is so sweet!
Wow, two posts in one day. Sam just woke up from his nap and Ella and I always come up together to get him. I check my e-mail and such while Ella plays with Sam while he's in his crib.
She's reading him stories and stops to give him his Nuk. I told her what a nice big sister she is and she says, "I know. I'm telling stories about God to Sam." I turned around expecting her to be reading out of a book, but she's playing with her animals and making up stories to tell him. It's no wonder they're such good little buddies. Too cute!
We LOVE Packages!!
Big shout out to Auntie Jill for her late Valentine's Day package she sent. Ella had pajama day at school on Friday and I wasn't sure what she was going to wear because most of her jammies are a little small but they work for bed. So Thursday afternoon a package shows up with pajamas in them!!! YEAH!!!
She looked very cute and "springy" at school on Friday.
Ella and the other 4 year-olds sang a song in church on Sunday and she did so well. It's been so much fun seeing her grow. When we first started going to church and sunday school she was pretty shy and didn't want to go by herself. Now she runs up to the front of the church all by herself and happily sings songs. There were only a few kids up there, but she sang her heart out!

Another Week....Another Post...
Things have been quite uneventful around the household here. We've been trucking on waiting for spring to come. It is nice seeing the sun shine a bit higher in the sky these days. I've been busy printing and saving to CD all the photos from 2008. I really shouldn't get that far behind, but it doesn't take too long to get caught up.
Sam likes to grab the cloths off the oven door and go around cleaning the house. Works for me!!
On Wednesday evening we went over to Jodi's house to play with all the girls. Here's a photo of baby Sarah who is almost 9 months old.
They had a lot of fun playing and dancing. Then they all got in their pj's and ready for bed. (Since we were getting home after bedtime.)

I finished knitting a hat for Sam. It was a little too big, so I'll make him a smaller one and he can wear this one when he's grown a bit.
The kids like spinning on their Bili.bo.
Ella and Sammy playing on the exercise roller. (It's more of a toy than anything else.)
Ella and daddy went to the pool and went swimming. Ella thinks her undies look better on her head.

Cheap workout:
After bath:
Sam has been a little grumpy the past couple days. I think it's because his molar is coming in. He got his first bottom molar on the 17th and his other one is almost in. I think this is the cause of his grumpiness. Usually you can't tell when he's teething other than him sucking on his hand. I can handle a little grumpiness.
He was very unhappy this morning when I got out the camera. It took a minute to get a little smile...
